Design Every Day – DUFFY & PARTNERS from Royal Antler on Vimeo.

This is a short film I directed with my production company, Royal Antler.

For more than 30 years DUFFY & PARTNERS has been a leading design agency. Our challenge was to create a film that highlighted 10 of their brands in less than 180 seconds. Royal Antler co-produced, directed, shot and oversaw the edit of this film.

Ben Kyle: Mercy from Royal Antler on Vimeo.

This is a film I directed and co-wrote with T.C. Worleyunder our film company, Royal Antler.

Our short film/music video “Mercy” is alternately anxious and joyful as it follows a happy young couple through a difficult life interruption. Filmed in rural Wisconsin, it is as beautiful as it is touching.

The film’s visuals are accompanied by music artist Ben Kyle’s emotively moving song, also entitled “Mercy”.

Created in partnership with Iron Tumbleweed Productions, this film was an entry in the 2013 Z-Fest Film Festival. We’d like to thank our talented, hardworking crew for teaming up to make this piece with us. We would also like to thank Splice.tv for the post production. Their entire team is very talented and a true pleasure to work with. – T.C. Worley.

Fall Lookbook from Royal Antler on Vimeo.

Fall is a special time of year. It’s more than a descent from summer – it’s a glorious exit, full of color and brings the return of sweaters and campfires. In a split-second decision, we decided to make a lookbook-style film to celebrate all of these things before the beauty of fall was gone.

Our Fall Lookbook short film takes viewers on a day of adventure and discovery. It captures the spirit of young boys, freedom and, of course, Fall.

We also used this opportunity to highlight one of our favorite fashion accessory brands, Herschel Supply. Their style and aesthetic encourages every-day adventure, and so do we. It’s our hope that we’ll inspire our viewers to seek out the small, accessible adventures that are all around us.

How does a man move and shape a culture? Our love of storytelling compelled us to find out, so we dug into the story of the Almanzo 100 gravel road race–the granddaddy of them all. We found that a single man’s passion for community has manifested itself in a bike race. The challenge: to race 100 miles of gravel roads without assistance or outside support. Pain and suffering exist temporarily, but the satisfaction of a battle won will empower these racers the rest of their lives. Call it a movement if you’d like but please don’t call it a fad. Gravel racing is here to stay.  - T.C. Worley

We’ve shadowed Minneapolis recording artist, Herschel, to rehearsals, parties, live shows and even on a workout run through the city. In a “day-in-the-life” piece, we will help you get to know this up & coming artist a little better. Excited to have Splice’s gifted story-teller Nick Gumm editing this piece for us. Expect an early Summer release.

THREE WEEKS is a whimsical short film inspired by a few HARD-TO-BELIEVE real-life events entailing wild sacrifices, odd part-time jobs, unbridled passion, unmatched creativity, and LOVE. Written by first-time female director Teah Strandjord & backed by Executive Producer Mike Kraabel, the 14-page script is now careening toward production, which begins on June 29th in St. Paul Minnesota, and STARS Superbowl Champion Ben Utecht. But before the lights go up and the cameras roll, we need your help!

I’m excited to be the Assistant Director on this film. It was a great experience and I was lucky to work with such a great group of filmmakers.
